Leading the Kano Hub this year are three Shapers who have given significant time and effort to building this community; and who are now responsible for the most ambitious curatorship agenda in the hub's recent history.
Sumayya Tofa
Curator
Sumayya is a governance, strategy, and communications professional with experience spanning agri-tech, civic education, creative enterprise, and international development. She joined the Kano Hub in 2022, served as Partnerships & Sustainability Lead in 2024/2025, was elected as Deputy Curator in 2025/2026, and now leads the hub’s most institutionally ambitious curatorship year to date. She is also the Founder of Meraki Technologies and serves as Governance & Strategy Manager at Al Zira’a Tech.
